There is no such thing as 100%. Our experience is that with dedicated effort and following the program carefully, you will get results.
This method has been successfully applied to individuals with:
- severe dyslexia,
- poor reading skills,
- adults who have only a few sight words,
- individuals suffering from head injury, as well as
- an additional supplementary program for teaching English as a second language.
The dEcode™ method in particular helps with the pronunciation, speech and clarity of the English language.
Remember, the ultimate goal of reading is comprehension. There are a number of skills needed to get to that goal.
These skills include phonemic awareness and differentiation, phonological awareness, morphology, syntax (grammar), sequencing abilities and then language comprehension.
dEcode™ focuses on the basic levels since through the development of learning phonology the disorders inherent in syntax and language can be alleviated to a degree through indirect instruction as established by our research. |
